Position Overview
The compensation range for this role is outlined below. Our salary structures are designed to accommodate candidates with varying levels of expertise and experience, allowing for growth and advancement within the position over time. Typical starting salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of the pay range for many candidates. Any offer made will be based on the candidate's unique qualifications, skills, education, and experience, as well as internal equity considerations.

Key Responsibilities
Act as a subject matter expert, assisting Members/Participants with Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA). Clearly communicate the benefits and coordination of products specific to educational institution employees.

  • Promptly address complex or escalated inquiries from Members/Participants regarding Individual Retirement Accounts.
  • Respond to requests from school district offices, demonstrating an understanding of laws, IRS rules, and regulations governing the plan.
  • Handle both telephone and written inquiries, conducting research to resolve issues and provide accurate information to the requesting party.
  • Process retirement account transfers, rollovers, trustee-to-trustee transfers, and distributions.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, investigate fees, tax statement issues, and correct necessary tax forms. Address complex inquiries from branches/departments and Members/Participants, performing the required research to resolve issues.
  • Provide technical guidance to branches/departments and educational institutions regarding IRA products.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.
  • Adhere to regulatory compliance and complete assigned training requirements, including but not limited to BSA regulations relevant to specific job duties. Non-compliance may result in disciplinary actions.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Experience with Retirement Accounts is preferred.
  • NASD Series 6 license is preferred.
  • CIP or CPS designation is preferred.
