Position:
Senior Financial Accountant (Contract-To-Hire)

Company Overview:

Our team is expanding, and we are in search of a Senior Financial Accountant who possesses a strong background in financial reporting, cost management, and accounts oversight to enhance our operational efficiency.

Compensation:
$30 - $35 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and precise payments and collections.
- Assist in generating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analyses.
- Conduct job costing analyses and collaborate with project managers to oversee project budgets and expenditures.
- Facilitate the annual audit process by preparing necessary schedules, documentation, and addressing auditor inquiries.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and applicable accounting regulations.
- Aid in the development of budgets and forecasts, providing financial insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Engage in the ongoing enhancement of financial processes and systems.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, ideally within the construction sector.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage 300) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and job costing principles.
