About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our Retail Wireless team at DISH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and exceeding performance goals in the Kansas City area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coaching and Training: Visit retail store locations to provide coaching and training to sales representatives, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Drive and inspect marketing campaigns and Boost brand standards at retail stores to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  • Performance Support: Make and receive daily calls to stores to assist with performance and customer escalations, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • New Business Development: Identify new retail distribution points using local knowledge and real estate contacts, expanding our reach and increasing sales opportunities.
  • Business Development: Communicate with store owners to enhance business sales performance, providing expert-level product knowledge and implementing plans to exceed sales quotas.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and four years of related work experience or eight years of related work experience post-high school.
  • Sales and Account Management Experience: Four years of sales and/or account management experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Training and Relationship Development: Three years of training, relationship development, planning, or business management experience.
  • Sales Experience: One year of selling wireless products or services.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Driver Safety Policy: Must have a valid driver's license, three years of active driving history, completed driver safety training, and comply with DISH's Driver Safety Policy and guidelines.
  • Contract or Vendor Relationship Experience: Experience working with contracts or vendors, with a strong understanding of business relationships.
  • Adaptability and Time Management: Must adapt well to change and enjoy working in a fast-paced sales environment, with excellent time management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well individually and as a member of a team.
