**About the Role**

Square Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our global sales development efforts. As the **Director of Global Lead Generation and Strategy**, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that drives revenue growth and expands our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a Global Sales Development Team: Manage a team of sales development representatives and managers to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Create and implement a sales strategy that aligns with Square's business objectives and drives revenue growth.
  • Qualify and Convert Leads: Develop and implement processes to qualify and convert leads into sales opportunities.
  • Partner with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and drive sales growth.
  • Measure and Analyze Performance: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales performance and make data-driven decisions.

Requirements:

  • 8+ Years of Sales Experience: Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in sales.
  • 4+ Years of Sales Development Experience: Experience in sales development, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in this field.
  • 4+ Years of Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience, with a minimum of 4 years of experience leading a team of sales managers.
  • BA/BS Degree or Equivalent: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in high-transaction-volume SaaS applications or financial services sales, experience working with cross-functional teams, and experience communicating and managing relationships with senior executives.
