Position Summary:

The Home Loan Processor II is tasked with the essential functions of ordering, collecting, reviewing, and preparing necessary documentation for all residential mortgage applications. This role ensures that all loan conditions are satisfied and that the loans adhere to all regulatory, credit union, and secondary market standards. This position requires advanced knowledge and the ability to manage increased responsibilities beyond those of a Loan Processor I.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assess loan applications for precision, compliance, and completeness, ensuring adherence to all relevant guidelines and policies.
  2. Request appraisals, title commitments, tax transcripts, income verifications, government case numbers, and compliance reports.
  3. Communicate effectively with borrowers, loan officers, realtors, vendors, and operations staff to provide updates and manage outstanding items for timely closings.
  4. Review and fulfill underwriting conditions.
  5. Analyze appraisals, title policies, credit reports, and income verifications.
  6. Investigate supporting documentation for inconsistencies to identify potential fraud or misrepresentation.
  7. Prepare and deliver re-disclosures in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  8. Ensure accurate and timely preparation and delivery of loan documents.
  9. Coordinate loan closing, recording, and funding processes.
  10. Verify signed closing documents for accuracy and completeness.
  11. Disburse loans and manage post-closing responsibilities.
  12. Prioritize daily workload to meet company timelines and lock expirations.
  13. Achieve minimum monthly performance goals set by management.
  14. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all credit union mortgage products.
  15. Perform duties in a safe and compliant manner, being aware of relevant policies and regulations.
  16. Attend training sessions and seminars as directed by leadership.
  17. Exhibit a dependable attendance record and commitment to the role.
  18. Maintain a professional demeanor and foster mutual respect within the team.
  19. Safeguard sensitive data with the highest standards of confidentiality.
  20. Willingly undertake additional job-related projects and assist team members as needed.

Qualifications:

Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of two years of mortgage processing experience.
  2. Preferred experience in processing Correspondent, FHA, and VA loans.
  3. Knowledge of basic income calculations.
  4. Experience with loan origination software and electronic file management systems.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Willingness to travel for training and business objectives.
  7. Valid Driver's License.

Salary Range:

$24.34 - $36.50
