Overview

Reports to: Consumer Lending Processing Supervisor I

Functions Supervised: None

Primary Functions: Facilitate branch/member loan closings and execute essential data entry tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Address all member inquiries received via phone, mail, and online regarding loan approvals, denials, guidelines, policies, and programs.
  • Inform members and branches about approved loan requests, detailing the terms and conditions associated with the loan.
  • Collaborate with members and branches to gather necessary information and documentation for loan closing processes.
  • Process, fund, and finalize CLC mail and E-Sign loans efficiently.
  • Collect all loan-related documents, confirm the validity of title documents, and secure loan payoffs when required.
  • Develop and review loan checklists to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Generate adverse action letters and Pre-Approval letters as necessary.
  • Oversee and manage requests and applications in designated loan queues, phone queues, and email inboxes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Not Applicable

Experience/Skills: A minimum of one year of progressively responsible experience in a related role, ideally within the consumer loan sector or a similar member service-oriented position. Direct public contact experience is preferred. Proficiency in typing at least 35 wpm, operating a 10-key calculator, and familiarity with online data operations is essential. Must possess the ability to diplomatically manage challenging situations. Willingness to work evenings and weekends is required.

Tenure: Advancement to Consumer Lending Processing Specialist II or III, Category 13 or 12, necessitates meeting established performance standards as determined by management. Relevant work experience and/or completion of accelerated training may substitute for tenure.

Compensation

Salary Pay Range:

  • Consumer Lending Processing Specialist I (Category 14): $41,484 - $60,567 annually
  • Consumer Lending Processing Specialist II (Category 13): $44,803 - $66,309 annually
  • Consumer Lending Processing Specialist III (Category 12): $48,387 - $73,549 annually

Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable, and will fall within the range provided above.

In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
