Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor

ClearVista Behavioral Health is a leading provider of behavioral health services in the region. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Technician (MHT) Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the therapeutic milieu under the direction of Nursing and Clinical leadership
  • Ensure that the schedule/program is consistently delivered, patients are supervised, safety is maintained, and patients and guests are treated with respect and dignity
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinate patient care activities
  • Assist with feedback in the evaluation process of MHTs and help manage training, resources, and support for MHTs

Qualifications and Experience:

  • College Education/Associate's Degree
  • At least 2 years working in a behavioral health setting with supervisory experience

Key Skills and Abilities:

  • Understanding of resident rights and care procedures and standards
  • Ability to make independent decisions and take initiative
  • Ability to deal tactfully with staff, patients, family members, and visitors
  • Ability to work harmoniously with all staff and maintain a positive and respectful work environment
  • Must have patience, tact, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult situations
  • Willingness and ability to be flexible and adapt to new methods and principles
  • Computer literacy and skills, including Microsoft software
  • Prior experience with scheduling software is preferred
  • Ability to openly communicate at all levels of the organization
