Art Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Art Therapist to join our team at ClearVista Behavioral Health. As an Art Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing professional, compassionate care for adults and seniors in need of behavioral health services.

• Collaboration and Communication
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Assessment and Treatment Planning
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their unique needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Regularly reassess patients to update treatment plans and ensure optimal care.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital standards and regulations regarding documentation and record-keeping.
• Education and Leadership Development
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in art therapy and behavioral health.
  • Contribute to the development of educational programs and materials for patients and staff.

• Education and Certification
  • Master's degree in Art Therapy or related field.
  • Current certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or equivalent.
• Experience and Skills
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in art therapy or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
