Position Summary:
As a Patient Care Technician, you will deliver essential support to patients under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or designated healthcare professional. Your duties will encompass aiding in patient comfort, monitoring vital signs, assisting with personal hygiene, and providing mobility assistance. You will serve as a vital communication conduit between patients and nursing staff, ensuring that any alterations or concerns are swiftly communicated.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide fundamental patient care with empathy and professionalism
- Maintain precise and timely patient records
- Exhibit strong communication skills within the healthcare team
- Comply with patient safety protocols and regulations
- Assist with daily living activities and personal care needs
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of Nursing Student clinical rotation or state certification
- Basic Life Support certification is preferred
Work Schedule:
Full-time position with 36 hours per week
Shift: Nights, 7pm-7am, with an every other weekend rotation
