Position Summary:
As a Patient Care Technician, you will deliver essential care to patients under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or designated healthcare professional. Your role will encompass aiding in patient comfort, monitoring vital signs, supporting personal hygiene, and assisting with mobility. You will serve as a crucial communication link between patients and nursing staff, ensuring that any alterations or concerns are swiftly communicated.
Primary Duties:
- Provide fundamental patient care with empathy and professionalism
- Maintain precise and timely patient records
- Exhibit effective communication skills within the healthcare team
- Comply with patient safety protocols and regulations
- Assist with daily living activities and personal care needs
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of Nursing Student clinical rotation or state certification
- Basic Life Support certification is preferred
Work Schedule:
Full-time role with 36 hours per week
Shift: Nights, 7pm-7am, rotating every other weekend
