Company Overview: Risk Mitigation Consulting (RMC) is on the lookout for a dedicated Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Analyst to join our team in a full-time, in-office capacity.

About the Role: As a CIP Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting the CIP Program within the Office of the Secretary of Defense, contributing to our mission of enhancing security for both military and commercial sectors. Your expertise will be essential in providing technical and operational support to military headquarters and assisting with various Joint Service tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert in the development of CIP and Mission Assurance (MA) policies and guidelines.
  • Assist in identifying and validating critical assets that are essential for mission operations.
  • Support all phases of Mission Assurance, including emergency management and risk assessment.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, briefs, and presentations to support CIP and MA initiatives.
  • Review and validate critical asset data to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Advise clients on CIP and MA matters, providing research and analysis based on DoD policies.
  • Educate stakeholders on risks and vulnerabilities related to critical assets.
  • Ensure timely and actionable information is available to relevant commands and stakeholders.
  • Participate in meetings, conferences, and working groups related to Mission Assurance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with the Department of Defense and knowledge of critical infrastructure programs.
  • Familiarity with the DoD planning process and joint exercise experience.
  • Strong writing and communication skills are essential.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must obtain a DoD Top Secret Clearance.
  • Possession of a valid passport with sufficient validity.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
  • Commitment to maintaining a drug-free work environment and U.S. Citizenship.
