Position: Insurance Sales Specialist

The Commercial Lines Producer serves as an external sales representative tasked with fostering new business revenue growth among commercial clientele through diverse channels. This role not only involves cross-selling opportunities within the organization but also emphasizes the importance of generating new business through self-initiated referrals, influential networks, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed annual new business sales objectives.
  • Facilitate collaborative efforts and pursue cross-selling initiatives with other departments to achieve revenue targets.
  • Generate a robust pipeline of new business leads and maintain high appointment activity levels.
  • Identify and navigate sales challenges on a case-by-case basis.
  • Communicate our solutions effectively to clients unfamiliar with insurance concepts.
  • Leverage CRM tools to enhance the sales process, ensuring timely and accurate data entry regarding appointments and follow-ups.
  • Design and implement sales and marketing strategies to strengthen the company's market position.
  • Collaborate closely with the account management team to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Background in sectors such as Construction, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Hospitality, Agriculture, or a Generalist portfolio.
  • Proven track record of financial success.
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, and organized individual with a strong drive to meet personal sales targets.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of engaging with senior management and presenting a professional demeanor.
  • Preferred: College degree and current insurance licensing.
