IT Support Talent Acquisition Specialist

Position Summary: The IT Support Talent Acquisition Specialist is tasked with overseeing the comprehensive recruitment process for IT support positions within our company. This role involves sourcing and engaging qualified candidates, conducting interviews, and collaborating with hiring managers to facilitate an effective hiring journey. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in IT recruitment and a demonstrated capability to attract and connect with exceptional talent in the IT support sector.
Core Responsibilities:
- Design and execute impactful recruitment strategies to draw in IT support professionals.
- Identify candidates through diverse channels such as job boards, social media, networking opportunities, and employee referrals.
- Evaluate resumes, perform initial interviews, and assess candidate qualifications.
- Organize and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Deliver prompt feedback to candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain precise and current candidate records within the applicant tracking system.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in IT recruitment.
- Work in partnership with HR and IT departments to comprehend staffing requirements and role specifications.
- Manage job postings and advertisements across relevant platforms.
- Support onboarding and orientation activities for new hires.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated experience as an IT Recruiter or in a comparable recruitment role, focusing on IT support positions.
- Comprehensive understanding of IT support roles and industry developments.
- Strong sourcing abilities and proficiency in utilizing various recruitment tools and platforms.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications or training in recruitment or HR.
- Experience in a technology or IT-centric organization.
