Program Coordinator

Location: Richmond, VA

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K

Salary Range: $60k-$70k

Our client is seeking a Program Coordinator who is a proactive self-starter, possesses excellent follow-up abilities, and can effectively manage multiple tasks while comprehending technical drawings and product specifications. This role requires a willingness to travel to various project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing both long-term and short-term strategies, including establishing milestones and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Assigning tasks to team members based on their strengths and expertise.
  • Making informed decisions when faced with various options for project advancement.
  • Acting as a liaison for teams when multiple departments are involved in the same initiative to ensure cohesive efforts.
  • Engaging with executives or stakeholders to ensure project alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Conducting quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle to uphold expected standards.
  • Modifying schedules and objectives as project needs or funding change.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional team members to ensure compliance with project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Facilitating meetings with project teams to identify and address challenges.
  • Delivering project outputs and confirming adherence to quality benchmarks.
  • Preparing comprehensive status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing pertinent information.
  • Establishing and executing effective communication plans for the project.
  • Managing change requests to keep all stakeholders informed about impacts on timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinating the creation of user manuals, training resources, and other documentation necessary for successful implementation and transition.
  • Identifying and nurturing new business opportunities with clients.
  • Securing client approval for project deliverables.
  • Ensuring client satisfaction during the project transition phase.
  • Conducting evaluations post-project to assess successful and unsuccessful elements.
  • Overseeing ERP project initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management.
  • Ability to lead project teams of varying sizes to successful completion.
  • Strong grasp of formal project management methodologies.
  • Experience in construction, IT, or ERP project management.
  • Proven ability to complete projects within established timelines.
  • Understanding of ERP implementation processes.
  • Experience in overseeing construction projects.
  • Budget management expertise.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus.
