Position Overview

The MSW Program Coordinator will play a vital role in the administration and coordination of the MSW program's activities and initiatives. This position encompasses a range of operational, logistical, and administrative responsibilities that support the program's objectives.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Program Coordination:
Address inquiries and concerns from students, faculty, and staff as necessary. Prepare purchase orders and manage reimbursements in accordance with university policies. Assist in program evaluation by collecting data and monitoring grade submissions. Document minutes from MSW committee meetings. Oversee the MSW program email, event planning, and scheduling. Manage the MSW program's digital resources, ensuring all documentation is current and accessible. Handle policy-related documentation processes, including various forms and requests. Collaborate with the MSW Program Director on registration and enrollment issues. Monitor the program budget in partnership with the MSW Program Director. Create and distribute the MSW Program newsletter to stakeholders. Communicate program events and opportunities effectively to relevant parties. Generate reports to assess enrollment and staffing needs. Course Management:
Organize faculty teaching requests and confirmations for course staffing. Manage course scheduling processes and ensure accuracy in student-facing databases. Act as a liaison with textbook publishers and the university bookstore. Facilitate the onboarding of new teaching faculty. Maintain an organized archive of course syllabi. Coordinate mid-semester evaluations for courses. Keep course competencies updated for faculty and assessment purposes. Administrative Support:
Assist with event setup and support for student success initiatives. Provide backup support to other academic program coordinators as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Experience in promoting a diverse and inclusive environment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively while meeting deadlines. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Commitment to providing excellent customer service to a diverse population. Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality. Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Flexibility to work in both in-person and remote settings.
