Essential QualificationsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- A genuine passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Proven ability to supervise staff and implement organizational policies and procedures.
- Capability to educate and train team members in essential job functions.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
- Commitment to embodying the Heart Havens Mission and Values.
- Competence in monitoring budgets and managing expenditures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Understanding of DMAS & DBHDS Licensure and Human Rights regulations.
- Familiarity with the characteristics and concepts related to developmental disabilities and mental health disorders.
- Ability to address concerns from parents, individuals, case managers, and other stakeholders professionally.
- Skill in drafting Person-Centered Individualized Support Plans and maintaining accurate client records.
- Capacity to perform light office tasks with reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to organize, schedule, and prioritize competing deadlines effectively.
- Skill in developing processes to manage responsibilities and time efficiently.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work); equivalent experience and training will be considered.
- Two years of practical experience in supporting individuals with disabilities or in quality improvement roles within the disability sector.
- Ability to pass necessary background checks and obtain required certifications.
- Previous supervisory and leadership experience is preferred.
