Position Overview

Heart Havens, Inc. is in search of a dedicated Lead Program Coordinator to collaborate closely with the Operations Director, Quality Assurance Director, HR Manager, and Program Managers across various locations. Essential Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • A genuine passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Proven ability to supervise staff and implement organizational policies and procedures.
  • Capability to educate and train team members in essential job functions.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
  • Commitment to embodying the Heart Havens Mission and Values.
  • Competence in monitoring budgets and managing expenditures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Understanding of DMAS & DBHDS Licensure and Human Rights regulations.
  • Familiarity with the characteristics and concepts related to developmental disabilities and mental health disorders.
  • Ability to address concerns from parents, individuals, case managers, and other stakeholders professionally.
  • Skill in drafting Person-Centered Individualized Support Plans and maintaining accurate client records.
  • Capacity to perform light office tasks with reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to organize, schedule, and prioritize competing deadlines effectively.
  • Skill in developing processes to manage responsibilities and time efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work); equivalent experience and training will be considered.
  • Two years of practical experience in supporting individuals with disabilities or in quality improvement roles within the disability sector.
  • Ability to pass necessary background checks and obtain required certifications.
  • Previous supervisory and leadership experience is preferred.
