The New Home Consultant Trainee at Lennar is tasked with managing a Welcome Home Center under the mentorship of an experienced professional. This role involves cultivating and sustaining a strong sales pipeline, interacting with customers to facilitate sale agreements, and successfully closing new home transactions.

Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Build and nurture relationships with visitors to identify their home buying preferences, applying the company's sales philosophy.
  • Generate sales leads independently through community involvement, partnerships with realtors, and proactive outreach.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape, including product offerings, community attributes, and target demographics.
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers from initial contact through to post-closing, ensuring accurate records of interactions.
  • Participate in sales meetings, community promotions, and marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee the upkeep of Welcome Home Center models and available inventory homes.
  • Complete mandatory training and engage in community events and outreach efforts.



Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree and real estate license are preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of utilizing sales tracking software.
  • Self-driven with a positive outlook and a strong work ethic.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:



Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during standard work hours is a fundamental aspect of this role. This position is primarily active, involving office and phone work, as well as navigating various weather conditions and uneven surfaces at homesites within the community. A valid state driver's license is required for transporting customers throughout the neighborhood and attending various meetings related to sales generation. Manual dexterity is necessary for operating computer keyboards and telephone equipment. The ability to lift and carry supplies and materials weighing up to 25 pounds is also required.
