GENERAL FUNCTION
The Optical Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in delivering an outstanding optical experience for our customers by combining their expertise, experiences, and personality with the needs of our guests and our premium fashion brands.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Consistently achieve sales targets and company objectives by nurturing existing customer relationships and establishing new ones. Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend appropriate lenses and coatings. Assist customers in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help them find the ideal vision solution. Conduct measurements using the necessary optical tools and consult with an Optician as required. Actively contribute to a positive store atmosphere, building strong, professional relationships with colleagues, management, doctors, and support staff. Take pride in the store's appearance and show initiative in maintaining displays and inventory in a clean, attractive, and organized manner. Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and coworkers with respect.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and basic math skills Ability to embrace new technology and adapt to changes with a high level of accuracy Proven sales skills and accountability for achieving sales results, with a strong desire to meet goals. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a dynamic environmentEssilorLuxottica is a leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of fashion, luxury, and sports eyewear.
Employee compensation is determined by various factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements.
