Account Manager

KEMET is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to lead sales efforts in the Ohio area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our market share.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed sales budget and revenue growth targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including engineering, procurement, and C-level executives
  • Provide technical support and training to customers, utilizing internal resources and expertise
  • Develop and implement territory strategies to drive sales growth and market expansion
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Service, Product Management, and Field Application Engineers, to support sales efforts
  • Manage distribution partners and establish annual goals, strategies, and quarterly business reviews
  • Monitor and communicate local market trends to inform sales strategies
Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of previous sales experience with a demonstrated track record of growth and success
  • Experience with solutions-based selling and approach to solving customer problems
