Operations Leadership Development Program for Military Veterans

At Amazon, we are committed to developing a diverse workforce and are looking for talented military veterans to join our Operations Leadership Development Program. This three-year program is designed to rapidly develop high-potential veterans with the skills needed to become Amazon's future senior leaders.

The program is focused on developing leaders who can manage people, process, and technology in one of the world's leading logistics, supply chain, transportation, and fulfillment operations. You will have the opportunity to work on complex business and operational challenges, drive improvements in operational processes, and lead cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach, manage, and develop large teams
  • Partner with senior leadership to think broadly about solutions to complex business and operational challenges
  • Engage and lead continuous improvement projects throughout the course of the program

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of active duty service as a commissioned/non-commissioned military leader
  • Transitioned/retired within 1 year
  • A completed Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
  • Excellent military record demonstrating significant levels of responsibility and leadership experiences in challenging, high-operational-tempo assignments

The program will provide you with a comprehensive development experience, including:

  • Leadership development training and coaching
  • Opportunities to work on complex business and operational challenges
  • Networking opportunities with senior leaders and peers

Compensation:

Total compensation for Pathways Operations includes three elements: (1) Base pay, (2) 1, 2-year sign-on payment, (3) Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)

Locations & Placement:

Must be willing to relocate at time of hire; position location is most heavily weighted on business need, but will also consider individual location preference.

Expected Hours & Environment:

This position is demanding; hours may fluctuate with seasons and changing environments. Expect to work weekends, holidays, and/or overnight shifts with anticipated overtime.
