Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Content Strategist for Product Growth to spearhead the development and execution of a robust web marketing strategy aimed at attracting, engaging, and converting visitors on our international websites. Reporting directly to the Director of Product, you will be instrumental in crafting the initial interactions prospective customers have with DocuSign, ensuring that our strategies align with the broader business objectives and collaborate effectively with various departments including Product Marketing, Creative, Brand, Performance Marketing, and Corporate Communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement holistic content strategies to enhance user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Analyze current target demographics and help identify future growth segments, advocating for their needs and addressing barriers to purchase.
  • Ensure all content adheres to DocuSign's brand and web standards, producing materials that resonate with our brand voice and market positioning.
  • Continuously test and refine content and product positioning across marketing and eCommerce platforms to maximize conversions and user engagement.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations tailored to markets at varying stages of maturity.
  • Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Tableau to extract valuable insights, establish success metrics, and make informed recommendations for enhancing customer experiences.
  • Oversee the regular management and updating of numerous web pages and eCommerce content to accurately reflect our digital offerings.
  • Maintain the content governance framework and editorial calendar for designated website sections, ensuring content remains current and valuable.
  • Evaluate content performance and suggest improvements to CMS design and functionality to boost engagement and conversion rates.
  • Conduct thorough site audits to verify content accuracy and quality throughout the user journey.
  • Collaborate with SEO specialists to formulate and execute strategies that positively influence traffic, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Review website content for compliance with accessibility standards and support initiatives to enhance inclusivity.
  • Coordinate with global web operations for effective content localization.
Qualifications

Essential

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in Web and Digital Marketing.
  • Proficiency with reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, and Tableau.
  • Familiarity with website coding, particularly HTML.

Desirable

  • Strong understanding of web user journeys and the ability to leverage data for informed web design decisions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to create high-quality presentations.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Expertise in SEO best practices, including effective keyword integration.
  • Experience with products that cater to an international audience.
  • Proven ability to lead projects independently.
  • Knowledge of headless content management systems, such as Contentful.
Compensation Transparency

Compensation for this role is determined by various factors, including geographic location and job-related expertise. The following salary ranges apply:

  • California: $134,000 - $216,975.00 base salary
  • Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $129,000 - $190,550.00 base salary

This position is also eligible for bonuses, equity, and benefits.
