Our flagship product, Bitkey, is a simple and safe self-custody bitcoin wallet that puts customers in control. We're also developing hardware and software that will help decentralize bitcoin mining and enable new and innovative use cases for bitcoin mining.

**Job Summary**

We're seeking a highly skilled Content Strategist Lead to join our Proto team. As a Content Strategist Lead, you will be responsible for driving content strategy across mining, Bitkey, and the business unit at large. You will work closely with marketing, design, product, and leadership across the company to create engaging content that resonates with our audience.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create high-quality content that meets our brand standards.
  • Commission research and co-marketing opportunities to provide unique data and points of view that can only be published and shared by the Proto team.
  • Work closely with comms and events teams to adapt our content strategy to syndicated content and in-person events and speaking opportunities.
  • Build a media machine for the proto business to grow our organic audience, keep them engaged, grow awareness from our products, and monetize our own media.
  • Advise leadership on how content should evolve and grow.
  • Evaluate and adapt the role to fit the needs of the company as the businesses mature and grow.

**Requirements**

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic, content-driven roles in technology and finance.
  • A growth mindset - wearing many hats, learning new skills, adapting as the team and the business change are a requirement.
  • World-class writing skills. While you may manage strategy in the role, you'll also be a critical source of writing talent for the team.
  • Experience managing a team of writers, whether full-time or contractors.
  • A track record of strategically shipping content.
  • A deep understanding of bitcoin and the bitcoin industry.
