Role Overview:

The lifecycle marketing function is vital to MasterClass's ongoing success. In this role, you will track the user journey and contribute significantly across various communication channels, catering to both B2C and B2B audiences. You will collaborate with a talented team of marketers and engage with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, and Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop targeted programs and campaigns for distinct customer segments, focusing on driving acquisition and user engagement.
  • Oversee lifecycle marketing processes, including creative brief development, messaging alignment, project updates, quality assurance, data integrity checks, and stakeholder approvals.
  • Provide regular updates on project milestones, campaign successes, and areas for improvement to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Design and manage the experimentation strategy for engagement and enterprise campaigns, continuously refining methods to enhance class participation.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Product, Creative Operations, Legal, etc.) to ensure lifecycle communications are relevant, personalized, and consistent with our brand.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in lifecycle marketing or a related field.
  • Experience with a major Email Service Provider (ESP) is preferred; familiarity with Iterable is a significant advantage.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.
  • Understanding of the technical tools and languages (HTML, CSS, Java) essential for lifecycle marketing campaigns.
  • Strong grasp of key marketing metrics for evaluating campaign performance.
