We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Business Development Automotive to join our team at Walmart. This is a critical role that will play a key part in driving business growth and development in the automotive e-commerce category.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and launch new sellers in the Walmart Marketplace, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to succeed.
  • Work closely with category seller growth teams to identify market opportunities and develop strategies to attract new accounts, expand assortment, and increase inventory.
  • Manage the end-to-end business development lifecycle, from sourcing to transactability, to ensure new sellers are fully equipped for immediate success.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external business relationships, understanding and managing mutual value propositions, risks, and benefits.
  • Drive business growth by developing and executing business plans and projects, identifying customer and operational needs, and measuring progress.
  • Influence and drive the overall sales strategy to ensure highest valuation, directing sales and managing key accounts.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, selecting and training, mentoring, and establishing performance expectations.
  • Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 3 years' experience in business development, market development, product development, or relevant area.
  • Master's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing or related field.
  • 3 years' supervisory experience.
  • 2 years' experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • 2 years' experience in sales in the Automotive space.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the automotive e-commerce category.
  • Seller-obsessed and relationship-driven.
  • Track record of developing and closing high-impact deals.
  • Visionary with ability to distinguish from competition.
  • Results-oriented with proven track record of leadership and taking ownership.
  • Ability to lead by influence and translate between commercial and operational audiences.
