About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our Aerospace team, you will be responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models that drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement machine learning algorithms to solve complex problems in electronic warfare
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into our systems
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code to ensure efficient and scalable model deployment
  • Work with data scientists to design and implement data pipelines for model training and testing
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and apply them to our projects
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience with machine learning and programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB
  • Experience with developing data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of targeted data sources
  • Knowledge of computer vision, statistical pattern recognition, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or natural language processing
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in the development of algorithms leveraging R, Python, or MATLAB
  • 2+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
  • 2+ years of experience with distributed data and computing tools, including MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL
  • 2+ years of experience with dynamic programming, combinatorial optimization, or linear programming
  • Experience with developing deep learning algorithms using structured and unstructured data sources and frameworks, including Tensorflow or Pytorch
  • Experience with visualization packages, including Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2
  • Knowledge of radar, communications systems, digital signal processing, or time-series analysis
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree
