About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our Aerospace team, you will be responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models that learn from data to support the future of Electronic Warfare for the Air Force.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and train machine learning models using statistical and general-purpose programming languages, including R, MATLAB, or Python.
  • Contribute to the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying best-fit machine learning algorithms and technologies.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers, computer scientists, and physicists to deliver world-class solutions to analyze and develop Electronic Warfare algorithms.
  • Work with clients to navigate the landscape of machine learning algorithms, tools, and frameworks.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages, including R, MATLAB, or Python.
  • Experience with developing data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of targeted data sources.
  • Knowledge of computer vision, statistical pattern recognition, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or natural language processing.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in the development of algorithms leveraging R, Python, or MATLAB.
  • 2+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining.
  • 2+ years of experience with distributed data and computing tools, including MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL.
  • 2+ years of experience with dynamic programming, combinatorial optimization, or linear programming.
  • Experience with developing deep learning algorithms using structured and unstructured data sources and frameworks, including Tensorflow or Pytorch.
  • Experience with visualization packages, including Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2.
  • Knowledge of radar, communications systems, digital signal processing, or time-series analysis.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Master's degree.
