Position:

Intermediate Radar Signal Processing Specialist

KBR is in search of a highly skilled Intermediate Radar Signal Processing Specialist with a top-secret clearance to engage in the development of algorithms and the prototyping of innovative tools aimed at addressing intricate challenges associated with the analysis of data from remote sensing technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of the systems engineering development lifecycle and will contribute to the formulation of requirements through the assessment and validation of newly devised methodologies.

Key Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Top-Secret Clearance is mandatory
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience is required
  • Proficient in Python and extensive experience with MATLAB is essential
  • Strong capabilities in technical documentation and presentation skills
  • Experience in developing algorithms for processing substantial datasets and conducting evaluations using actual data to analyze and document outcomes
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Expertise in mono/bi/multi-static radar systems, electronic warfare (EW), synthetic aperture radar (SAR), and automatic target recognition (ATR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the development of machine learning methodologies for radar signal processing
  • Preference for candidates with TS/SCI clearance and CI Poly
  • Familiarity with X-Midas is advantageous
  • A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics is preferred

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics is required
