Position OverviewThe Senior Electrical Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in steering technological advancements and ensuring timely and budget-conscious project completion.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, analysis, documentation, and testing support of products, systems, or subsystems.
- Independently manage technical projects from inception to completion.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
- Review and interpret customer specifications and requirements to create optimal designs, considering cost as a vital factor.
- Contribute to budget, cost, and schedule assessments for design tasks.
- Document specifications and material requirements for components and subsystems.
- Conduct design analyses as required.
- Evaluate and specify supplier components, subsystems, and services.
- Support design initiatives focused on cost efficiency and manufacturability.
- Develop prototypes to mitigate key development risks.
- Effectively communicate with manufacturing, supply chain, program management, and customers as necessary.
- Engage actively in the preparation of complex and significant proposals.
- Offer technical expertise and support to fellow engineers and support staff.
- Collaborate with technical management and other professionals to coordinate and advise on technical activities and progress.
- Promote and uphold the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
- Participate in relevant engineering, customer, or business meetings.
- Guide and mentor less-experienced engineers.
- Engage in the design, development, modification, and analysis of various electronic systems, which may encompass Hardware, Power Engineering, Power Electronic Engineering, Electromagnetic Engineering, Integrated Circuit Engineering, and Components. Troubleshoot and rectify malfunctions in existing products or systems and implement necessary modifications. Compile and assess design and test data, and analyze, develop, and recommend design strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Extensive knowledge and mastery of technologies within the domain.
- Demonstrated expertise and experience across multiple engineering disciplines.
