The Opportunity:
As a skilled programmer, you understand that machine learning (ML) plays a pivotal role in analyzing and interpreting extensive datasets.
Your expertise in performing statistical evaluations on operational processes using ML methodologies positions you as a key contributor to delivering solutions focused on client needs.
We seek your technical acumen and problem-solving mindset to advance the future of Electronic Warfare (EW) for the Air Force.
In your capacity as an ML engineer within our Aerospace division, you will be responsible for training, testing, deploying, and maintaining models that derive insights from data.In this position, you will influence the development of mission-critical solutions by implementing optimal ML algorithms and technologies.
You'll have the opportunity to grow within a vast network of machine learning engineers across the organization and collaborate with electrical engineers, computer scientists, and physicists to create top-tier solutions for analyzing and developing EW algorithms.
Your consulting capabilities and technical background will assist clients in navigating the landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks.Join us in addressing real-world challenges and shaping ML strategies for the Air Force.

Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages, including R, MATLAB, or Python
Experience in developing data models, quantitative analyses, and visualizing targeted data sources
Knowledge of computer vision, statistical pattern recognition, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or natural language processing
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional Skills:
2+ years of experience in algorithm development utilizing R, Python, or MATLAB
2+ years of experience with data exploration, cleaning, analysis, visualization, or mining
2+ years of experience with distributed data and computing tools, including MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL
2+ years of experience with dynamic programming, combinatorial optimization, or linear programming
Experience in developing deep learning algorithms using structured and unstructured data sources and frameworks, including TensorFlow or PyTorch
Experience with visualization packages, including Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2
Knowledge of radar, communications systems, digital signal processing, or time-series analysis
TS/SCI clearance
Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 annually.The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
