The Leonardo DRS Airborne and Intelligence Systems division stands as a premier global entity and strategic collaborator dedicated to providing top-tier, comprehensive life-cycle defense and intelligence solutions that safeguard the security of our nation and its allies.
The Leonardo DRS Tactical Systems group specializes in developing secure communications and intelligence, information, cyber, electronic warfare, and space (I2CEWS) technologies applicable to airborne, maritime, terrestrial, portable, and space environments.
We have been the leading provider of Intelligence Broadcast System (IBS) based software-defined radios and terminals for over two decades, as well as Link-11 data terminal sets and Link-22 signal processing controllers for more than forty years.
Our offerings include the highest-performing electronic warfare systems available, ranging from ultra-compact, lightweight, and power-efficient portable systems to fully integrated, multi-site fixed and mobile electronic support and attack systems.Our solutions leverage state-of-the-art software-defined radio, cryptographic, and machine learning technologies, all developed, integrated, and produced by our skilled team.

Key Responsibilities• Ensure design adherence to all project specifications
• Potentially lead a team of engineers to successfully complete projects
• Analyze customer specifications and requirements, potentially guiding a project team to develop optimal designs, considering cost as a crucial design factor
• Provide insights on budget, cost, and schedule for design tasks
• Clearly communicate (both written and verbal) with manufacturing, supply chain, program management, and customers as necessary
• Collaborate with technical management, other professionals, technicians, and support staff to coordinate, recommend, and discuss technical activities and progress
• Support, communicate, uphold, and advocate for the mission, values, and culture of the organization
• Attend relevant engineering, customer, or business meetings
• Mentor and guide less-experienced engineers
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field with a minimum of five years of experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI and Dashboard is preferred
