Job Overview

Position Title: IT Support Specialist

Location: Remote

Contract Duration: 12+ months

Compensation:

  • $20/hr
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and operate computer systems along with associated peripheral devices, ensuring proper configuration and control of operations.
  • Provide essential computer services to clients, including printing of documents, data transfer, and maintaining inventory of necessary forms.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot user or system issues, identifying root causes and resolving problems or escalating them to appropriate experts.
  • Generate regular and special reports for users as requested, ensuring timely distribution.
  • Oversee building and data center security, including the management of delivery check-ins.
  • Collaborate with users and supervisors to establish operational schedules and procedures.
  • Maintain updated documentation of processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead and manage assigned projects and initiatives effectively.
  • Deliver technical support through first-level resolution of incidents and service requests, adhering to specific service level objectives.
  • Assist users and customers in retrieving information, escalating complex or high-priority issues to the relevant support teams.
  • Perform additional related duties as necessary.
