About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Hygiene Support Specialist to join our team at Dental Care Alliance. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Distribute and collect completed documentation from patients, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Set up and break down treatment rooms, maintaining a clean and sterile environment.
- Ensure the proper sterilization and maintenance of equipment and instruments.
- Uphold office policies, including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting and escorting patients to and from treatment rooms.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Review medical history and input information into our patient management system.
- Take clinically appropriate X-rays and obtain necessary consent for patient treatment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Completion of a Dental Assisting Program and X-ray certification preferred.
