Position Summary:
DT Professional Services is in search of an IT Support Services Specialist to deliver installation, configuration, testing, and technical assistance to the Department of Navy's Commander, Operational Test and Evaluation Force (COMOPTEVFOR). A DoD issued Secret Clearance is a prerequisite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical assistance to end users regarding computer, application, system, device, printer, access, and hardware challenges.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve technical issues of moderate complexity.
- Respond to requests for technical support via telephone, email, and online ticketing systems.
- Document, track, and monitor issues using relevant systems and tools, potentially collaborating with other teams or departments to resolve user concerns.
- Execute hardware and software installations, configurations, and updates as necessary.
- Conduct Windows imaging and cloning for laptops and computers.
- Apply Microsoft and other third-party security patches and updates to Windows 10 client workstations.
- Provide technical support for Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and assist users in making VTC calls.
- Facilitate new user check-ins and check-outs.
- Create and modify user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory.
- Issue and receive IT assets for OPTEVFOR personnel.
- Assist new users in completing check-in forms and accessing online training resources.
- Prepare a monthly status report detailing the progress of assigned tasks and future work plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active DoD issued Secret Security clearance is required.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in Customer Service Support.
- Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Windows 10/11 workstations.
- Experience in installing and supporting Microsoft Office 2019 or higher.
- Must meet the applicable DCWF Work Role [411] Foundation Qualifications, Basic, which include:
- Education: Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution, unless continuous work in the relevant discipline can be demonstrated OR
- Training: Offerings listed in DoD 8140 Training Repository OR
- Personnel Certification: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ OR
- Possess the necessary and current cybersecurity qualifications to perform IT privileged administrative functions in accordance with the DoD Cyberspace Workforce Framework (DCWF).
The compensation range for this position is $28,000 to $38,000 annually.
