Job Overview

Position Summary:
DT Professional Services is in search of an IT Support Services Specialist to deliver installation, configuration, testing, and technical assistance to various clients. A Department of Defense issued Secret Clearance is a prerequisite for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer technical assistance to end users for issues related to computers, applications, systems, devices, printers, and hardware.
  • Diagnose, investigate, and resolve technical challenges of moderate complexity.
  • Respond to requests for technical support via telephone, email, and online ticketing systems.
  • Document, track, and monitor issues using relevant systems and tools, coordinating with other teams as necessary.
  • Execute hardware and software installations, configurations, and updates as required.
  • Conduct imaging and cloning of laptops and computers.
  • Apply security patches and updates to Windows 10 client workstations.
  • Provide technical support for Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and assist users in making VTC calls.
  • Facilitate new user onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Create and modify user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Manage the issuance and return of IT assets for personnel.
  • Assist new users with onboarding forms and online training access.
  • Prepare monthly status reports detailing progress on assigned tasks and future work plans.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active DoD issued Secret Security clearance is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Customer Service Support.
  • Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Windows 10/11 workstations.
  • Experience in installing and supporting Microsoft Office 2019 or higher.
  • Must meet the applicable DCWF Work Role [411] Foundation Qualifications, Basic, which include:
    • Education: Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution, or relevant continuous work experience.
    • Training: Relevant offerings listed in the DoD 8140 Training Repository.
    • Certification: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+.
    • Possession of current cybersecurity qualifications to perform IT privileged administrative functions as per DoD guidelines.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is between $28,000 and $38,000 annually.
