Enrollment Services Coordinator Job Description

Miami Regional University (MRU) is seeking an Enrollment Services Coordinator to become an integral part of our team. This role will assist the Assistant Vice President of Admissions by managing application processes, delivering exceptional customer service, and executing various administrative duties related to admissions. Key responsibilities include ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, acting as a representative of the university to potential students, maintaining accurate admissions records, and supporting recruitment initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year of administrative experience, outstanding communication abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support MRU's mission and strategic goals
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Act as a liaison between the university and prospective students
  • Assist in various admissions-related activities
  • Maintain comprehensive admissions records and generate reports as needed
  • Provide high-quality customer service and assist students with necessary documentation
  • Engage in accreditation processes and participate in student-related events

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in an administrative role
  • Experience in admissions or higher education is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong clerical skills
  • Proficient in English
  • Understanding of customer service principles
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other office applications
