Business Development Representative

Rumpke of Northern Ohio, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven New Business Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue for the company.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect and generate new commercial business through cold calling and other sales activities.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Rumpke's services and pricing structure to effectively communicate with customers.
- Determine customer needs and propose appropriate service solutions.
- Meet or exceed new business sales goals and objectives.
- Conduct sales presentations and proposals to key decision makers to close sales.
- Utilize the company's Growth Management System (GMS Board) to schedule and document activities, and develop prospective customer profiles.
- Perform data entry to populate electronic sales orders via the Sales Management System (SMS).
- Secure customer signatures on required Customer Service Agreements.
- Submit and review reports and other paperwork in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends.
- Attend regular meetings with the Sales Supervisor to review sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers.
- Possess strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.
- Present and communicate in a professional manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be organized with good time management skills.
- Possess proven analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications.
- Have reliable transportation.
- May be exposed to high traffic conditions and/or tight driving areas.
- Ability to travel between offices, as required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Valid driver's license (if applicable).
- Must successfully complete pre-employment testing.
- Must be able to read and speak the English language.
