Job Title: Director of Finance

Planet Professional is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our financial planning and analysis function, providing strategic financial guidance, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of our financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to our leadership team, including financial analysis, forecasting, and decision support.
  • Collaborate with our cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our stakeholders, including our executive team, department heads, and external partners.
  • Manage and analyze complex financial data, including financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment, including working knowledge of drug development processes.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with experience using Excel and other financial systems.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and improving financial performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters in accounting or finance.
  • Commercial experience, including experience with government contracts.
  • Experience using Oracle PBCS or Hyperion.
