Job Overview:

The Clinic Manager will oversee the operations of the Orofacial Pain Clinic within the College of Dentistry. This role is pivotal in managing clinic activities and personnel, ensuring efficient patient flow and scheduling to achieve productivity targets. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership and guidance to clinic supervisors.
  • Assisting in the management of daily schedules for healthcare providers using clinical management software.
  • Supporting the Division Chief, faculty, and residents in their clinical duties.
  • Collaborating with clinic teams to prepare annual budget proposals.
  • Monitoring and enforcing compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and budget oversight.
  • Recruiting, mentoring, and developing clinic staff.
  • Addressing patient concerns and complaints effectively.

Additionally, the Clinic Manager will generate and evaluate various reports related to clinic productivity and scheduling, making recommendations for improvements. This role ensures that staff meet quality assurance standards, including safety and infection control protocols, and coordinates quality assurance initiatives.

Proficiency in clinical and management processes, familiarity with clinical management software, strong leadership and supervisory skills, effective communication abilities, analytical thinking, conflict resolution, attention to detail, and teamwork.
