Early Childhood Intervention Case Coordinator

Program: Amarillo, Texas – Early Childhood Intervention (ECI)

Compensation:

Case Coordinator I: $40,809.60 Annually

Case Coordinator II: $43,305.60 Annually

Work Schedule: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain ethical and professional communication at all times.
  • Engage in service coordination and developmental support for an assigned caseload.
  • Assist children and their families in achieving goals established through the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
  • Promote family advocacy by leveraging knowledge of community resources.
  • Operate under the general supervision of the ECI-EIS Lead Coordinator.
  • Innovate new techniques for effectively working with assigned clients.
  • Make decisions based on established guidelines while addressing varied situations.
  • Comply with the TPC Business Code of Conduct and report any ethical or business standard concerns.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field related to human services or early childhood intervention.
  • No prior experience necessary for Case Coordinator I.
  • One (1) year of case management experience required for Case Coordinator II.
  • Completion of forty hours of continuing education in early childhood development or early childhood special education within five years prior to employment may substitute for the three-hour semester course credit requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Spanish.
  • One (1) year of experience in human services case management.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Teacher, Licensed Social Worker, Registered Nurse, Early Intervention Specialist, Psychology, or Sociology.
