The Role:

Launch Consulting Group is in search of a Business Development/Sales professional with a demonstrated history of success in the information technology and services industry. In this crucial position, your duties will include nurturing and enhancing relationships with key decision-makers across various levels of our clients' organizations. Your keen ability to identify prospects and effectively position Launch's technology consultants and professional services will be vital to your success. A strong customer-centric approach and a deep understanding of strategic account management will inform your interactions.

Additionally, you will communicate client requirements to our internal teams, assist in talent acquisition, evaluate recommended consultants, and provide valuable feedback. Responsibilities:


• Drive revenue and achieve quotas through new business development and existing client relationships.


• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of Launch Consulting methodologies, case studies, and partnerships, presenting differentiated positioning to all management levels.


• Develop and adhere to a sales strategy for targeting and penetrating new business opportunities.


• Manage all aspects of the business development cycle, including prospecting, cold calling, presentations, proposal creation, contract negotiations, and relationship building.


• Identify and pursue association memberships within the business community to promote Launch Consulting and generate business for the company.


• Collaborate closely with both active and new clients to acquire and prioritize their IT requirements.


• Provide detailed requirements and information to internal staff.


• Present qualified candidates to clients and oversee the hiring process.


• Utilize a CRM database in a professional, accurate, and timely manner.

Necessary Skills and Abilities:


• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.


• Strong analytical and negotiation capabilities.


• Understanding of the local business landscape.


• Expertise in developing IT solutions businesses coupled with outstanding relationship management skills.


• Proven ability to develop business for the delivery of Internet, Intranet, Extranet, software, and/or professional consulting services.


• Ability to identify key decision-makers within organizations, present a clear and concise case for partnering with Launch, and close business through superior customer service.


• Capacity to cultivate strong relationships with all levels of internal and external management and comfortably negotiate business terms in both fast-paced entrepreneurial and large-scale organizations.

Education and Experience:


• BA/BS in Business, Management, or a related field.


• 5-8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.

• Anticipated base salary: $70,000-$110,000 + uncapped commission.
