Position Title: HVAC Account Manager

Key Responsibilities

The individual in this role will engage in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, providing clients with detailed product information and services, nurturing existing client relationships, and developing impactful sales presentations. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Adhering to EMCOR Government Services' established sales philosophy and processes.
  • Conducting thorough research to identify potential clients and projects through various outreach methods, including direct communication with key decision-makers.
  • Building and sustaining relationships with prospective clients.
  • Collaborating with the Sales Manager and Branch Manager to enhance account management strategies and processes.
  • Utilizing analytical skills to implement solution-driven programs aimed at maximizing sales growth and profitability.
  • Preparing and delivering compelling presentations to clients.
  • Drafting and reviewing client proposals, ensuring alignment with EMCOR standards.
  • Achieving defined sales margins to secure market share.
  • Maintaining professional interactions with team members and other departments.
  • Committing to personal and professional development through training and skill enhancement opportunities.
  • Meeting established annual sales targets.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by the Sales Manager.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Account Managers receive a structured annual draw, distributed in weekly payments.
  • Each Account Manager is assigned specific sales plans, including non-maintenance, maintenance, and automation sales targets, which are essential for their role.
  • Sales plans are designed to cover the costs associated with the Account Manager's position, with successful achievement being a condition of employment.
  • Compensation details are outlined in the company's sales compensation plan.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in business or a related technical field.
  • 2-5+ years of experience in HVAC commercial services or a related area, ideally within Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance.
  • Demonstrated sales skills and strong customer presentation abilities.
  • Financial acumen, particularly in cost modeling for proposals.
  • Experience in crafting technical and financial proposals.
  • Ability to make independent decisions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with strong Excel capabilities.
  • A competitive, articulate, goal-oriented, and energetic personality.

Compensation Range: $65,000 - $130,000 Per Year
