Position Title: HVAC Account Manager
Key Responsibilities
The individual in this role will engage in identifying and securing new business opportunities, offering clients detailed information about our services, nurturing existing client relationships, and preparing impactful sales presentations. This position also involves managing client pricing structures, overseeing accounts receivable, maintaining client communications, ensuring quality assurance, and participating in industry events.
- Align with EMCOR Government Services' established sales philosophy and processes.
- Proactively seek and research potential clients through various channels, including direct outreach to Chief Engineers, Property Managers, and Asset Managers.
- Establish and sustain relationships with prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Branch Manager to enhance account management processes.
- Utilize analytical and solution-oriented approaches to drive sales growth and profitability.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients.
- Draft and review client proposals, ensuring financial and technical accuracy.
- Achieve defined sales margins to capture market share.
- Engage professionally with fellow sales team members and other departments.
- Commit to personal and professional development through training and skill enhancement.
- Meet or exceed established annual sales targets.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.
Compensation Structure
- Account Managers receive a structured annual draw, disbursed in weekly payments.
- Each Account Manager is assigned specific sales plans for maintenance and automation, which are designed to exceed the annual draw.
- The sales plans are set by management to ensure sufficient compensation for the Account Manager's role.
- Compensation details are outlined in the company’s sales compensation plan.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related technical field.
- 2-5+ years of experience in HVAC commercial services or a similar industry.
- Demonstrated sales skills and strong customer presentation abilities.
- Financial acumen, including experience with cost modeling for proposals.
- Proficiency in developing technical and financial proposals.
- Ability to make independent decisions.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Competitive, articulate, goal-oriented, and energetic.

Compensation Range: $65,000 - $130,000 Per Year
