Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Dimension Hospitality. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of cooks and other kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and cooking of food, ensuring that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Provide guidance and training to kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
  • Assume responsibility for the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef, planning and organizing all meals and special events.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and tools are properly maintained and cleaned.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu items and culinary concepts.

Requirements

  • ACF Certification, Culinary Arts degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of kitchen supervisory experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a lead cook position and 1 year in a steward position.
  • Food Safety Certification.
