Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Develop and implement recipes, menus, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and excellence in food quality.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create new menu items and specials.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and productive team culture, fostering open communication and a collaborative work environment.
  • Monitor and control kitchen expenses, including inventory, labor, and supplies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve kitchen operations and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of high-volume restaurant management experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-end environment.
  • Proven track record of success in menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
