Job Overview

As a key player in our operations, the Plant Coordinator will oversee critical aspects of facility management and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact during any environmental or safety emergencies, serving as the Incident Commander.
  • Deliver first responder services in accordance with training and qualifications, ensuring timely communication with relevant parties.
  • Manage emergency maintenance resources and activities effectively.
  • Ensure optimal plant operations by monitoring ongoing processes and addressing any operational issues promptly.
  • Identify and propose improvements in manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with management to facilitate information sharing, training, and project implementation aimed at improving operational effectiveness.
  • Support growth initiatives aligned with company objectives.
  • Engage with Operations, EHS, and Engineering teams to align business goals.
  • Work closely with site personnel to identify opportunities for enhanced safety and cost savings.
  • Foster productive relationships within the team and with company affiliates to ensure efficient communication.
  • Participate in or lead committees and teams focused on operational excellence.

  • Proven ability to identify improvement areas and propose actionable solutions.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a matrix organization.

Position Details:
This is a full-time role requiring flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as necessary.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and skills.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment, with experience in team leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of leading meetings and drafting standard operating procedures.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English.
  • Able to perform job duties safely and effectively.
  • Capable of working independently in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills for sharing information with peers and leaders.
  • Computer literacy; SAP experience is advantageous.
  • Mechanical and problem-solving skills are preferred.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety is a plus.
