Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HVAC Service Operations Coordinator to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our service operations team, you will be responsible for managing service schedules, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring timely completion of preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage service schedules for assigned technicians and mechanics, ensuring timely completion of preventative maintenance and alignment with monthly forecasting goals.
  • Coordinate with technicians and mechanics to resolve concerns quickly, debriefing activities daily to ensure seamless operations.
  • Assess job completion and collaborate with Customer Billing Coordinators and Customer Support Coordinators to progress completed jobs through the appropriate business process.
  • Communicate with customers to ensure work has been performed to their expectations, performing follow-up as needed.
  • Answer customer inquiries and resolve or escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Ensure all customer account information required to support call management activities and scheduling of tasks are kept up to date in NxGen.
  • Participate in weekly planning and scheduling meetings to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Perform other duties and administrative activities as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, plus two to five years of service industry experience managing service operations and/or service scheduling.
  • Proficient computer skills, comfortable with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Ability to perform work independently, with solid organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external clients.
  • Ability to simultaneously handle a large and diverse number of projects, tasks, and issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence.
  • Able to prioritize work activities based on financial impact to desired business goals.
  • Able to influence diverse teams to accomplish tasks and goals.
