Client Support Specialist
Job Summary:
The Client Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting the Sales Manager with the management of key accounts and administrative tasks. This position involves close collaboration with Business Development Managers to ensure a seamless transition for clients after the sales process. Key responsibilities include proactive engagement with customers, addressing support issues, conducting needs assessments, generating proposals, and facilitating client meetings.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and nurture relationships with current and prospective clients to secure new service agreements and renewals.
- Effectively oversee a portfolio of over 200 customer accounts.
- Conduct outreach through phone calls, schedule in-person visits, and deliver presentations to clients.
- Prepare clear and compelling written proposals and quotations for clients.
- Generate and distribute Customer Performance Reports to track service delivery.
- Update and create contracts as necessary to reflect client needs.
- Provide strategic recommendations to management during contract renewal discussions.
- Identify and communicate potential sales opportunities to the appropriate sales teams.
- Ensure all client requirements are met in accordance with contractual agreements.
- Address and escalate customer inquiries and issues to the relevant personnel.
- Maintain a comprehensive resource of information regarding products, vendors, and compliance requirements.
- Participate in industry trade shows and marketing events as needed.
- Ensure accuracy of customer information in CRM systems and make necessary updates.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or GED is required; a four-year degree or five to eight years of experience in a sales environment is preferred. Previous experience in the HVAC sector is essential.
