Position Title:

Client Support Specialist

Position Overview:

The Client Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting the Sales Manager with account management and administrative tasks related to client interactions. This position collaborates closely with Business Development Managers to ensure a seamless transition for clients post-sale. Key responsibilities include proactive communication with clients, addressing support inquiries, conducting needs assessments, generating proposals, and facilitating client onboarding meetings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients to secure new service agreements and renewals.
  • Effectively manage a portfolio of over 200 customer accounts.
  • Conduct outreach through phone calls, schedule in-person meetings, and deliver presentations to clients.
  • Prepare clear and compelling written proposals and quotations for clients.
  • Generate and distribute Customer Performance Reports to keep clients informed.
  • Update and create contracts as necessary to reflect client needs.
  • Provide management with recommendations during contract renewal discussions to develop effective action plans.
  • Identify and communicate potential sales opportunities to the appropriate sales team members.
  • Ensure all client needs are met in accordance with contractual agreements.
  • Respond to and escalate client requests and issues to the relevant personnel as needed.
  • Maintain a comprehensive resource of information on products, vendors, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and marketing events as required.
  • Ensure accuracy of client information in CRM and management systems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A high school diploma or GED is required; a four-year degree or five to eight years of experience in a sales environment is preferred. Previous experience in the HVAC sector is essential.
