Position Title:

Client Support Specialist

Position Overview:

The Client Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting the Sales Manager with account management and administrative tasks related to client interactions. This position involves close collaboration with Business Development Managers to ensure a seamless transition for B/C level clients post-sale. Key responsibilities include proactive client engagement, resolution of support issues, lead follow-up, needs assessment, proposal creation, and facilitating client kick-off meetings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients to drive new service agreements and renewals.
  • Effectively manage a portfolio of over 200 customer accounts.
  • Conduct outreach through phone calls, schedule in-person meetings, and deliver presentations to clients.
  • Prepare clear and compelling written proposals and quotations for clients.
  • Generate, update, and distribute Customer Performance Reports.
  • Revise and create contracts as necessary to meet client needs.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to management during contract renewal discussions.
  • Communicate potential sales opportunities to the appropriate sales team members.
  • Ensure all client requirements are met in accordance with contractual agreements.
  • Address and escalate client requests, needs, and issues to the relevant staff or management.
  • Maintain a comprehensive resource of information regarding products, vendors, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and marketing events as needed.
  • Ensure accuracy of customer information in COINS and other CRM systems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A high school diploma or GED is required; a four-year degree or five to eight years of experience in a sales environment is preferred. Prior experience in the HVAC sector is essential.
