Client Support Specialist

Role Overview:

The Client Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting the Sales Manager with the management of client accounts and administrative tasks. This position collaborates closely with Business Development Managers to ensure a seamless transition for B/C level clients post-sale. Key responsibilities include proactive engagement with customers, managing daily client support inquiries, lead follow-up, needs assessment, proposal creation, and facilitating client kick-off meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients to secure new service agreements and renewals.
  • Effectively oversee a portfolio of over 200 customer accounts.
  • Conduct outreach through phone calls, arrange in-person meetings, and deliver presentations to clients.
  • Draft clear and compelling proposals for current and potential customers.
  • Generate and distribute Customer Performance Reports to track service effectiveness.
  • Update and create contracts as necessary to reflect client needs.
  • Provide management with recommendations during contract renewal discussions to develop actionable plans.
  • Communicate potential sales opportunities to the appropriate sales team members.
  • Ensure all client requirements are met in accordance with contract stipulations.
  • Address and escalate client requests, needs, and issues to the relevant personnel.
  • Maintain a comprehensive resource of information regarding products, vendors, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and marketing events as required.
  • Ensure accurate customer information is maintained in CRM and management systems.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is required; a four-year degree or five to eight years of experience in a sales environment is preferred. Previous experience in the HVAC sector is essential.
